New progressive cavity pump at PUMPplaza for the first time

This year's PUMPplaza at Hannover trade fair was again a highlight in the exhibition agenda of Beinlich Pumpen. From 13th to 17th April, Beinlich presented its portfolio of proven gear, radial piston and centrifugal pumps. This year the focus was on the newly developed progressive cavity pump VISCO.pump®.

VISCO.pump® has been designed for precise dosing of fluids and pastes and is especially suitable for abrasive media and for dosing and dispensing proportional to speed. Accuracy and repeatability is ± 1%.

The technology of the newly developed VISCO.pump® is based on the volumetric principle of an endless (infinite) piston whereas the core components rotor and stator form a perfectly sealed metering chamber.
The eccentric movement of the rotor allows for a low-shear motion of the medium from one chamber to the next chamber without squeezing the media. The metering chamber is optimally designed for dispensing fluids and pastes filled containing fillers.

Not only the new development caught the interest of the visitors, but also the centrifugal pump NeoMag® with the patented borosilicate canister BOROHARDCAN® which was also presented at the "Forum Industrial Automation". At this forum, various presentations about different topics of the process and manufacturing automation were held. The subsequent panel discussion called "Is it worth to optimise pumps and components for energy saving?" rounded off the event.

The résumé of this year's Hannover fair is very positive: "The PUMPplaza again was an ideal presentation platform for new developments. At PUMPplaza one can easily get in contact with customers and other exhibitors and can exchange information about the latest technologies. Not least because of this, we exhibited our new pump there", says Jürgen Echterhage, Managing Director of Beinlich Pumpen.
